Yesterday the founder of the TREP$ program, Pamela de Waal, attended our marketplace and was very impressed by all she saw.
Congratulations to our 7th and 8th grade entrepreneurs!!! What a fantastic evening for our school sand community. This event could not have happened without the support of so many individuals. Our gratitude extends to our sponsors Esposito’s, Subway, and Tene’ Nicole. To all our community partners Ariane and Michael Duarte from Ariane Kitchen &Bar, Derick And Mark from Electric Spokes, and Alison Wright from E School Girls for sharing their entrepreneurial experiences.
A big thank you to the committee chairpersons Mrs. Baldwin, Mrs. McClain, and Mrs. Salmon. To all the parents that extended their time, talents, and contributions we are grateful.
Mrs. deWaal, the TREP$ program designer, took many photos and has posted them to the TREP$ official Facebook page. Here is the link:
TREP$ is an innovative after-school program that teaches students the skills to start their own business. As small business owners, students are motivated, empowered and inspired to develop a business and share it with the greater community.
